One of the first questions we ask an engaged couples is: “How do you envision your wedding day,” The second question is: “How do you envision your marriage?”
Our initial concern is not cost or budget, but rather your married life together. Our ultimate goal is to take your vision and turn it into a reality. This is done by helping you focus on your relationship.
Your wedding day is the day where the two of you come together surrounded by your family and friends in God's presence to declare your love for one another and express your desire to spend the rest of your lives together. Too many times couples get so caught up in planning the wedding that they don’t get to enjoy quality time with each other while planning. It is important to remember; your wedding is one day, your marriage is a lifetime!
We know that many times couples are dealing with stressful jobs, difficult family situations, and/or pressures from school. Add in planning a wedding, and moving into a new home or apartment and it can be all too overwhelming.
Our goal is to keep you focused on the big picture which is your marriage while still planning the wedding you have always wanted. If you aren’t spending 15-20 hours per week making phone calls and searching the internet, then you can spend that time nurturing your relationship. The wedding day is supposed to be your opportunity to lay a solid foundation for your life-long relationship and in the end, you will be more relaxed and able to focus on the sanctity of the day rather than the schedule.
Our experience tells us that people who recognize the need for order and a higher level of organization are the couples who are most likely to hire a wedding consultant. They know that on their wedding day they will not be able to coordinate the wedding party, assist the guests with seating, check to make sure all of the vendors arrive on time, make sure the food is ready on time, pack up their gifts, etc… The list is endless on the wedding day.
Our slogan is “Treating Your Wedding as if it were Ours.” We truly stand by that motto. Our wedding day was not perfect because we didn’t believe we could afford a wedding consultant and thought, with our experience, we could do it ourselves. We realized too late that we couldn't afford not to have one! We needed someone to handle the situations that arose and we didn’t have a point person on whom we could rely. As a result, we were putting out fires on our own. While our wedding was memorable, our reception wasn’t. If we had hired a professional consultant, that person could have offered us invaluable advice about planning and then coordinated our reception for 200 people. After ten years of wedding planning, and more than 250 weddings successfully planned, we have the knowldege and experience engaged couples need and our goal is to provide that knowledge to every Bride and Groom.
